Dancer is a Perl framework for building Web applications with minimal effort. It started as a port of Ruby's Sinatra project, but has grown on its own path. A Dancer app can run as a standalone Web server or from any Web server using PSGI. It lets the user write an application with very few lines of code. It's powerful and flexible enough to knock up a simple Web site or Web service very quickly, and can scale to much larger projects. Building a Web application with Dancer is as easy as loading the library and defining route handlers. Dancer provides an elegant syntax for defining route handlers, can render views with a variety of template engines, supports static file serving, session support, and many more features.
Aniketos-SSVV (Aniketos Security Service Validation and Verification) provides a series of modules that work together to validate the security properties of a Web service composition. The package is given a selection of service compositions (provided in the form of BPMN processes with Web services bound to the service tasks), along with the security policy to be fulfilled. The package then performs various checks on the services to establish whether each composition satisfies the policy, returning an ordered list (ordered in terms of security) of the services that do. It forms part of the larger Aniketos project comprised of four packages in total.
Azzyzt JEE Tools is a set of Eclipse plugins for creating a so-called "azzyzted" project, and for creating code from a model. Azzyzt uses Java JPA entities as a model, and from that model it creates an enterprise application, ready to be deployed in a Java EE 6 application server like GlassFish 3.1, ready to be accessed via CORBA, SOAP, and REST. Thus the generated application is a set of Web services, providing all that you need in a typical CRUD application. Generated enterprise applications have separate source folders for generated and developer-supplied content. You can add your own functionality to a well-engineered base project. Azzyzt JEE Tools is not about user interfaces. It is expected that the generated application is accessed by a RIA frontend or by a fat client.
