OpenDRDA is an open source implementation of the DRDA (Distributed Relational Database Architecture) protocol developed by IBM and endorsed as an OpenGroup standard for client to database server communication. The OpenDRDA project's goal is to create an open implementation of the standard, initially as an ODBC client driver, and eventually to bring DRDA server-side support to all major open source databases.
DB Relay is a project built around the NGiNX web server platform, providing an HTTP/JSON interface to a variety of database servers. It enables database access without drivers and Web application development without complex middleware. It is designed for operational efficiency and ease of maintenance.
