game control program helps you administrate gameservers (it's written for Q1 and Q3, but works for others). It is highly modular and therefore extensible. With the current modules, it can start/stop servers, create and rotate logfiles, allow remote administration via telnet, and kick misbehaving players automagically (according to a rule set).
Local Domain Search Engine is a distributed search engine. Nodes index local documents, and multiple nodes can be clustered to bigger nodes. There is a plugin mechanism to support new file formats (currently text, HTML, PDF, Zip, and GZip are supported). Files can be gathered via HTTP and from file systems, but this is extensible. Retrieval is done with a fault tolerant algorithm, so misspelled words can be found. Querying is possible with an applet, an application, a servlet, or via an XML interface.
Q3Master is a standalone master server for Quake3Arena (and derived games, like RTCW). It is intended for local networks without Internet connections (or firewalls which block Q3A). It can also be used for larger private networks on which more than one Q3A server exists. Q3Master can also be used to query servers in a local subnet, using broadcasts. The found servers can then be sent to another (or a central) master server to collect data from multiple subnets.
IWG (Interface Wrapper Generator) is a tool for generating wrapper classes for interfaces. These wrapper classes take an object of the implemented interface as constructor parameter. Each implemented method then calls the corresponding method of this original object. IWG is especially useful if you want to inherit from a class which cannot be inherited (e.g., a singleton or a final class, or EJBs which you want to enhance for new functionalities).
