xfburn is easy to use burning software for the Xfce desktop environment (but will work with others). It uses libburn and libisofs as a backend. ISO files can be burned, data composition created, discs blanked, and DVD-RW media formatted and deformatted. Common burning software features not yet implemented are audio CD creation and disc copying.
dualscreen-mouse-utils is a set of two useful utilities for dual screen setups (e.g. :0.0 and :0.1). mouse-switchscreen switches the cursor between X screens and remembers the last used position. mouse-wrapscreen wraps the mouse cursor from one screen to the other on the specified edge, even when the screens are configured to be apart and would normally be uncrossable.
checkcopy is a GUI tool to copy the files and directories to some destination while creating checksums and/or verifying them. It reads all the checksum files, then reads in each file to copy it to the destination. If a checksum is present for the file, it will be verified, otherwise the checksum is written out to disk.
1.5.2 not working for me
Just wanted to let people know that I'm not getting this to work. There are some bugs apparently, and it sucks because the encoding step is done first, so you waste two hours just to find out it doesn't work.
For me the dvdauthor step first didn't want to accept an 'mplex' command embeded into the xml control file. I ran it by hand, and substituted the output file for the command, which worked fine. But then it complained about some wrong settings for the title menu aspect ratio, and that was the end of the line for me.
Does not compile on modern systems
If you don't have the python-taglib installed already, chances are high you won't be able to compile it.
It seems like any swig version > 1.3.21 breaks the compilation.
