U61 is an extensible multiplayer block-based game, and its rules are parametered by Lua scripts. This means any player can change the rules and share his new rules with others. U61 is very multiplayer oriented and it does not really make sense to play alone. It also has some nice features you would expect from such a game, such as theme support and very accurate key settings (one can change the repeat rate of each key independently).
UWiKiCMS is a Web content manager which features basic text formatting and online editing, image upload and automatic positioning, heavy CSS use, lightweight XHTML compliant code, readable URLs (no cryptic article.php?id=123 stuff), extensibility at will through PHP file includes, and fancy orginal features such as "all in one page ready to print" or sharing the same database for various sub-sites. It has a built-in cache system.
Liquid War 6 is an original multiplayer wargame. You have to control an army formed with thousands of pixels that look like liquid, and try and eat your opponent. This is a total rewrite of the (now quite old) Liquid War 5 version. It's still in beta stage, with many imperfections and no network play but it's playable now.
Err, let me look my calendar. Is that March 31st? Nope, April's fool is just so far ahead... Well, very best luck with this new name. Somehow it will never be the same again, the fact freshmeat did have a name that was almost off-topic had its charm, now the magic is broken. But hopefully the site is still up and running, active, and if this makes it easier for you to fund it, I'm ready to cope with my nostalgia. Best regards.
The right tool
I use this library for the developpement of a project using technologies which can at first sight seem not be to be directly linked with itools (XUL, Google Maps...), but it has already proven to be very usefull.
As long as your project involves some XML, web stuff, or content management, give it a try. It's worth it.
