Snappy, fragmention horror?
Weird, my system works well, but I do not do
alot of IO. My friend often burns MP3s onto
regular CDs, so large filesets are to be
normalised for volume, his harddrive is fragmented
into shreds, he using ReiserFS. So do I. I admit
using alpha software with Reiser is blast because
of frequent reboots, but performance loss on my
friend's computer, is rather disconcerning to me.
He said it never happend with ext2. Ext2 got
corrupted more often though.
